This tour was a lot of fun. The tour guide picked us up at our hostel, and drove us to the train station supplying us with our tickets. The train ride was scenic and fun, although there was no A/C so be prepared to sweat. Once the train ride was done, we walked around the city of Kuranda, had lunch, got ice cream, did a wine tasting, purchased some souvenirs and saw the butterfly exhibit. The souvenirs were a lot less expensive in Kuranda than in Sydney, so this is the place to stock up. I purchased an authentic leather Australian outback hat in Kuranda for half the price in Sydney. The tour guide met us again at the butterfly exhibit and drove us to the ATV's. She gave us an information session on the Quad bikes then off we went. The tour was a lot of fun and is a must do while you are in Cairns. We were dropped off at the end of the day back at our hostel.

We enjoyed the scenic train ride up to Kuranda. We are and did a little bit of retail therapy in Kuranda before being brought to the ATV site. The ATVs were fun even during the sporadic rain showers. The trails were challenging, especially going through the mud puddles. The rainforest was spectacular.

Nicky was great! The morning train was relaxing and beautiful, we enjoyed our time in Kuranda and the Quad tour was lots of fun! Nicky made it easy and enjoyable. Recommend!

The ride in the morning train was amazing. The train is authentic and has a beautiful view. Kuranda Rainforest Village is a lovely place to get lunch and to buy original souvenirs. But the best part of the day is definitely ATV ride in the rainforest! We rode on a few different tracks and the guide Nicky provided us with useful facts about the fauna and flora of the rainforest. The ATVs were easy to operate and the view around us was breathtaking! Definitely would recommend this experience!

We had the most amazing morning riding with Nicky through the picturesque rainforest and awesome trails! Plenty of options for all variety of riders, and also got to learn some interesting facts about the local area and wildlife too. Highly recommend, do not miss out!

Scenic railway was worth doing for the great photo opportunities (mostly from the right hand side of the train) Our Guide Nicky picked us up and dropped us at the train station then met us again after a few hours for the quads we visited the butterfly farm during this time to ourselves The quad ATV base had some nice tracks with some challenging ruts and water crossings. Not for the Adrenalin junkies but still a nice little ride in the rain forest I would definitely recommend

Die Zugfahrt nach Kuranda ist sehenswert. Kuranda aber eher eine Touristenfalle und von Regenwaldfeeling keine Spur, aber die Tourveranstalter können ja nichts dafür. Die Tour mit den Quads hat sehr viel Spass gemacht und Nicky hat auch mitten im Regenwald halt gemacht und uns einiges über die Tier- und Pflanzenwelt erzählt.
