The Airport Motel is the first motel in Alice Springs through Heavitree Gap from the south. Spacious, comfortable and well appointed it offers views of the Gap and is adjacent to the Gap Hotel. Facilities include remote control colour TV, some with video, tropical gardens, and close to the Casino, Date Gardens and many attractions. Tours operators collect passengers from the motel on request. HRH Prince Charles and Lady Diana stayed here in March 1983. The hosts have created the Lady Di's Dining Room so guests can take afternoon tea and see some memorabilia of their visit every Sunday 2-5pm.
